September Social Media Calendar

Get Social In September

When it comes to Social Media Marketing and Strategy I like to have a plan. By working with a calendar I have a framework for my in person and online presence. The calendar enables me to identify events at a glance and keep an eye on potential opportunities.

Maximize Your Speaking Engagements

Earlier this summer I booked a speaking engagement. Then a few weeks later it was rescheduled until September. Recently I received an email from the event organizer asking me for a brief summary of my talk. By having the calendar handy I was able to highlight the topic of Falls Prevention Awareness. In addition, I was able to include related awareness topics. After sending my article the organizer quickly replied thanking me for the additional information.

“If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail!”

The calendar is one tool I use to plan my time. However, I have found the key to successful planning is consistency. If, you’re interested in using the calendar Click Here – Dropbox. (The link is to a Dropbox account. What is Dropbox? – YouTube Video.

About Me

At the present time, I am the Director of Program Innovation at Advocates For Aging. When you think of older adults do you see America’s largest resource?  With this in mind, I combined my background in business with a desire to influence aging in America. With this in mind, I was the first Gerontologist to speak at South by Southwest. Furthermore, it’s why I wrote Freewheeling After Sixty. Freewheeling the first book to empower older adults about their transportation choices. Contact me with your questions or thoughts.
